About EscrowWays
What is EscrowWays?
EscrowWays is Pakistan's leading escrow-protected marketplace for digital goods and services. We sit between buyers and sellers, holding payment safely until the buyer confirms they've received what they paid for. This protects both sides from fraud and makes digital trading safer for everyone in Pakistan.
How is EscrowWays different from regular marketplaces?
Regular marketplaces transfer money directly from buyer to seller, which means buyers risk paying for something they never receive. EscrowWays holds the payment in escrow — the seller only gets paid after the buyer confirms delivery or after a 24-hour auto-release window passes. This eliminates most fraud risk on both sides.
Is EscrowWays legal in Pakistan?
Yes. EscrowWays operates from Pakistan and follows all applicable local laws, including those covering electronic transactions, consumer protection, and anti-money-laundering. We cooperate with Pakistani authorities (FIA, SBP, FBR) when legally required.
Who runs EscrowWays?
EscrowWays is owned and operated by a Pakistani team based in Pakistan. For business inquiries, partnerships, or press matters, email hello@escrowways.com.
How long has EscrowWays been operating?
EscrowWays launched in 2026 with the mission of bringing safe, escrow-protected digital trading to Pakistan. We're a young platform building a community of trusted buyers and sellers.
Getting started
How do I create an account on EscrowWays?
Click "Sign Up" on the homepage, enter your name, email, and a strong password, verify your email, and you're in. Optionally enable two-factor authentication for extra security. Buyers can browse and purchase right away. Sellers need to complete CNIC verification before listing items.
Is creating an account free?
Yes. Creating an account is completely free. We don't charge subscription fees or listing fees. Our only revenue comes from a small 2% commission on completed seller transactions.
Do I need a CNIC to use EscrowWays?
To browse and buy items below PKR 10,000 per transaction, you don't need to verify your CNIC. For larger transactions, withdrawals, or seller accounts, CNIC verification is required by Pakistani anti-money-laundering rules.
Can I use EscrowWays on my phone?
Yes. EscrowWays is fully mobile-responsive — you can use it on any smartphone through your browser (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, etc.). A dedicated mobile app is on our roadmap for future release.
What countries does EscrowWays support?
EscrowWays is primarily designed for Pakistani users, with payment methods like JazzCash, EasyPaisa, SadaPay, local bank transfer, and PayFast. International users can browse and buy, but payment options may be limited depending on your country.
Buying on EscrowWays
How does buying work step by step?
You browse listings, click "Buy Now," your payment goes into escrow (held safely by us), the seller delivers within their committed timeframe, you confirm receipt, and the seller gets paid. If anything goes wrong, you can open a dispute and our admin team resolves it within 48 hours.
How is my money protected when I buy?
When you place an order, your payment is held in escrow — a protected holding account managed by EscrowWays. The seller doesn't receive the money until you confirm receipt or the 24-hour auto-release window passes. If the seller fails to deliver, you get a full automatic refund.
What payment methods can I use?
JazzCash, EasyPaisa, SadaPay, bank transfer (IBFT), debit/credit cards through our payment gateway partner, and your EscrowWays wallet balance.
How fast do sellers deliver?
Instant digital goods (codes, gift cards, license keys) usually deliver within 30-60 minutes. Email-activated products take 1-24 hours. Custom services take 1-14 days depending on the project. The exact timeframe is shown on each listing before you buy.
What if the seller doesn't deliver?
If a seller doesn't accept your order within their acceptance window (usually 60 minutes for instant goods), you get an automatic full refund. If they accept but don't deliver, you can open a dispute and our admin team will refund you after review — typically within 24-48 hours.
What if I receive a code that doesn't work?
Open a dispute within 24 hours of delivery. Include a screenshot of the error or failed activation. Our admin reviews evidence from both sides and issues a refund if the code is genuinely invalid.
Can I cancel an order after I pay?
Yes, before the seller marks the order as delivered. For custom services where the seller has already started work, you may receive a partial refund based on what's been completed.
How do I confirm I received my order?
Go to your Orders page, find the order, and click "Confirm receipt." This releases the payment to the seller. If you don't confirm within 24 hours, the payment auto-releases to the seller automatically — so always verify your delivery before the window closes.
Can I get a refund after I confirm receipt?
Once you confirm receipt, the transaction is final. We only issue refunds in exceptional circumstances — for example, if the item turns out to be fraudulent in a way you couldn't detect immediately. Always verify your purchase before clicking "Confirm receipt."
Do I pay any platform fees as a buyer?
No. EscrowWays doesn't charge buyers any platform or transaction fees. You only pay the listed price plus any seller-stated extras (delivery, custom work charges). Our 2% commission comes from the seller's side.
Can I leave a review of the seller?
Yes. After your order is complete, you can rate the seller from 1 to 5 stars and leave a written review. Honest reviews help the community trust real sellers and avoid bad ones. You can edit your review within 24 hours of submission.
Selling on EscrowWays
How do I become a seller?
Sign up for a regular account, then go to your profile and click "Become a Seller." Complete CNIC verification by uploading a photo of your CNIC and a selfie. Verification typically takes 24-48 hours. Once approved, you can create listings.
What can I sell on EscrowWays?
Digital products you legitimately own or have rights to sell — software license keys, gift cards, online course access, design templates, e-books, hosting services, cloud credits, custom design or programming services, and more. See our Acceptable Use Policy for full details on what's allowed and prohibited.
Can I sell Netflix, Spotify, or other streaming accounts?
Only with proof of ownership — purchase receipt, account in your name, and never previously sold. Even then, the streaming service may consider account transfer a violation of their terms, and you're responsible for refunding the buyer if the account gets suspended. We require disclosure of this risk in your listing.
How much does it cost to sell?
EscrowWays charges a 2% commission on each completed transaction. There are no listing fees, subscription fees, or monthly charges. You only pay when you actually make a sale.
When do I get paid?
You get paid into your EscrowWays wallet immediately when the buyer confirms receipt, or automatically after the 24-hour auto-release window. From your wallet, you can withdraw to your bank account, JazzCash, EasyPaisa, or SadaPay. Withdrawals typically process within 1-3 business days.
What's the minimum withdrawal amount?
The minimum withdrawal is PKR 500. There's no maximum withdrawal limit, though large amounts may require additional verification per Pakistani banking regulations.
How do I list a product?
Go to your seller dashboard, click "Create Listing," fill in the product details (title, description, category, price, delivery time, quantity), upload images, and publish. Listings go live immediately for standard categories. Some categories (streaming accounts, high-value items) require admin review before going live.
How do I handle delivery?
For digital codes and credentials, paste them into the order's delivery box when the buyer pays. The platform encrypts and stores them until the buyer accesses them. For custom services, communicate through the order chat and mark delivered when complete.
What if a buyer falsely claims they didn't receive the item?
Open a counter-claim in the dispute system with evidence — delivery confirmation, codes you sent, timestamps. Our admin team reviews both sides. False disputes are not tolerated, and buyers who file them risk account suspension. Sellers who do their part legitimately don't lose money to false claims.
Can I have multiple seller accounts?
No. Each person is allowed one seller account, tied to their verified CNIC. Multiple accounts to manipulate ratings, bypass restrictions, or evade suspensions will result in all accounts being banned.
Payments and wallet
What is the EscrowWays wallet?
Your wallet is a balance held within EscrowWays. Buyers can top it up to make faster purchases without going through the payment flow each time. Sellers receive their earnings into the wallet, where they can either spend on the platform or withdraw to external accounts.
How do I add money to my wallet?
Go to your Wallet page, click "Top Up," choose your payment method (JazzCash, EasyPaisa, SadaPay, bank transfer, or card), enter the amount, and complete the payment. Funds usually reflect within 5-15 minutes.
How do I withdraw money from my wallet?
Go to your Wallet page, click "Withdraw," choose your destination (bank account, JazzCash, EasyPaisa, or SadaPay), enter the amount and account details, and submit. Withdrawals are reviewed and processed within 1-3 business days.
Are there fees for top-ups or withdrawals?
Most payment methods have no fee from our side, but your bank or wallet provider may charge their own transfer fees. Card payments may include a small gateway fee (shown clearly before you pay). Withdrawals are free up to PKR 50,000 per month; above that, a small processing fee may apply.
Is my wallet balance safe?
Yes. Wallet balances are held in a regulated escrow account separate from EscrowWays' operating funds. Even in the unlikely event that EscrowWays ceases operations, user wallet balances are protected and returnable.
What's the difference between locked balance and available balance?
Available balance is money you can use or withdraw immediately. Locked balance is money currently held in escrow for active orders — for buyers, this is money committed to pending purchases; for sellers, it's pending earnings not yet released. Once orders complete, locked funds become available.
Disputes and refunds
How do I open a dispute?
Go to your Orders page, find the order, and click "Open dispute." Select a reason from the dropdown (item not delivered, item not as described, etc.), explain what went wrong, and upload any evidence (screenshots, messages). Submit, and our admin team will respond within 24-48 hours.
How long does a dispute take to resolve?
Most disputes are resolved within 24-48 hours of opening. The seller has 24 hours to respond with their side. Our admin reviews evidence from both parties and makes a decision. Complex cases (high-value disputes, unclear evidence) may take up to 7 days.
What happens if I win a dispute?
You get a full or partial refund (depending on the dispute details) credited to your EscrowWays wallet. From there, you can use the balance for future purchases or withdraw to your original payment method.
Can I appeal a dispute decision?
Yes. Within 48 hours of the original decision, you can request a senior admin review by emailing support@escrowways.com with your order ID and reasoning. Senior reviewers are different admins than the original decision-maker. Senior review decisions are final.
Should I file a chargeback with my bank instead of using your dispute system?
No. Our dispute system resolves issues in 24-48 hours, much faster than a bank chargeback (30-90 days). Filing an unauthorized chargeback before using our dispute system may result in account suspension and a PKR 1,500 handling fee. See our Chargeback Policy for full details.
Account and security
How do I keep my account secure?
Use a strong, unique password (12+ characters with letters, numbers, and symbols), enable two-factor authentication from your security settings, never share your password or 2FA codes with anyone, and log out when using shared devices. Always verify you're on escrowways.com before entering credentials.
What is two-factor authentication and should I enable it?
Two-factor authentication (2FA) adds a second step to your login — a 6-digit code from an authenticator app (like Google Authenticator or Authy). Even if someone gets your password, they can't log in without your phone. Yes, you should absolutely enable it, especially if you're handling money on the platform.
I forgot my password. What do I do?
Click "Forgot password" on the login page, enter your email, and follow the reset link we send. The reset link is valid for 1 hour. If you don't see the email, check your spam folder.
I lost my 2FA codes. How do I get back into my account?
If you saved recovery codes when you set up 2FA, use one of those. If not, email support@escrowways.com from the email registered to your account. We'll verify your identity through alternative means (recent order details, payment methods used) and help you recover access. This process takes 1-3 business days for security reasons.
How do I delete my account?
Go to your Settings page → Account → "Delete account." Any pending orders must complete first, and any wallet balance is refunded to your last-used payment method. Your account is permanently deleted, though we retain some data for 5 years as required by law.
Someone hacked my account. What do I do?
Immediately email abuse@escrowways.com with subject line "URGENT: Account Compromised." Include your account email and any details. We'll lock the account, reverse unauthorized transactions where possible, and help you regain access. Time matters — contact us as soon as you notice the issue.
How do I report a suspicious user or fraudulent listing?
Use the "Report" button on the user's profile or the listing page. For urgent matters or detailed reports, email abuse@escrowways.com. Reports are confidential — the person you report won't know it was you.
Technical support
The website isn't loading. What do I do?
First, try hard-refreshing your browser (Ctrl+Shift+R on Windows, Cmd+Shift+R on Mac). Try a different browser or incognito mode. Clear your browser cookies for escrowways.com. If still broken, the issue might be on our side — check our social media for status updates or email support@escrowways.com.
I can't upload images to my listing.
Make sure your images are under 5MB each and in JPG, PNG, or WEBP format. If you're on mobile, try uploading from a desktop browser instead. Clear your cache and try again. If the issue persists, email support@escrowways.com with the image file attached.
My order is stuck on "Pending."
"Pending" means your payment is processing — typically resolves within 5-15 minutes. If it's been over 30 minutes, check your payment provider (JazzCash app, bank statement, etc.) to confirm the payment went through. If money was deducted but the order is still pending, email support@escrowways.com with your order ID.
I see a different price than I expected.
Some listings include extra fees (delivery, custom work, currency conversion). Check the full price breakdown shown before checkout. If you still see something wrong, screenshot it and email support@escrowways.com.
What browsers does EscrowWays support?
We support the latest 2 versions of Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge, Brave, and Opera. For best performance, we recommend Chrome or Firefox. Older browsers (Internet Explorer, very old Android browsers) may not work properly.
Trust and safety
How do you prevent fraud?
Multiple ways: escrow holds funds until delivery is confirmed, CNIC verification for sellers, two-factor authentication for accounts, full audit logs of every transaction, IP and device fingerprinting, AI-assisted listing review, public seller ratings, mandatory dispute system before refunds, and coordination with payment partners on suspicious activity.
What happens to scammers on the platform?
Confirmed scammers are immediately banned, their listings removed, pending funds returned to victims, IP addresses blocked, and severe cases reported to law enforcement. We have zero tolerance for fraud — protecting honest users is our top priority.
Is my CNIC information safe with EscrowWays?
Yes. CNIC details are encrypted at rest and used only for KYC verification and legal compliance. We don't share CNIC information with sellers, buyers, or third parties except when legally required. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
Do you sell my data?
No. We don't sell any user data to advertisers, marketers, or third parties. We share data only when required by law, when necessary to process your transactions (with payment providers), or with your explicit consent.
How do you handle reports of abuse?
Every abuse report is reviewed within 24-48 hours. Serious reports (fraud, harassment, security issues) get faster attention. We investigate thoroughly, take action when warranted, and protect reporter identities throughout the process.
